Will there be any issues using a 17x9 wheel on a 1992 GT convertable?

What tire size would be best to use with this combo?

I am also looking for headlights and maybe taillights.

17x9 wheel fit with out any problems.....

depending on the tire size you may encounter some rubbing on the front

Thanks for the reply. The tires I was going to put on 245/45-17 on the 17x9 wheels.

One more question about the lights. Are the $180+ kits that much better than the $100 to $120 Kits I have seen?

I like the look of the Ultra clear. I found them for the Fog lights and head lights but didn't see them for the turn and running lights (right and left of the headlight)
