Hey guys have a 67 mustang i6 converted to 302 v8. Just got new tires 225/70/14 on 14' rims with 4.25 backspacing. Heres whats happening. When I spin the tires there is a wobble and they hit the base of the shock towers. I took the tires off and spun the brake drum and spindle and it wobbles too and rubs on the brakes. (Spins nice and then is hard to spin.) Could something be out of alignment or bent? I'll try to get some photos or video tonight.
Thanks
Dan

You don't say, but I think you are talking about the rear wheels?

Something is bent. Sounds like your rear axle shaft(s) are bent. Probably somebody slid it into a curb. You need new axle(s). They aren't that difficult to replace.
