Its a 1995 Mustang GT Conv. I have been keeping it under its car cover for the last couple months, and I decide yesterday that I want to clean it up and take it for a spin. It starts up fine and everything but when I go to use the convertible top switch my car's electric goes haywire. The radio starts bugging out, turniing on & off, sending to the speakers a "boom" sound repeatedly.

Prior to this, my father and I switched the e-brake cables because one of the wires was "stuck" i guess you could say. This may have something to do with it because the E-brake needs to be set in order to take down the convertible top. A saftey mechinism I assume.

I should note that the convertible top can be taken all the way down with the switch, but if it is down, its radio and electric system exhibit the described behavior.

Any ideas???

Dave
