i want to know where i put the gear oil becuse my gears are dam near locked up so can someone tell me where i put the gear oil for my mustang 1986 5.0l

near the drive shaft there is a 3/8" socket head plug take that out and fill.

Gear oil goes in the rear axle assembly, not in the transmission.


The World Class ('early '85+ V8) T-5 transmission requires Dexron II (automatic) transmission fluid.
