aus ford parts has the best stuff out there. no matter what you do, i would go w/ an aussie style head. just put some on mine and i love them! stick w/ 2v runners if you want throttle response. i think the 4v are just too big....they are only good on the top end.
If you pay attention to the engine masters challenge all the 351c/m and 400m fords have been built with the CHI aluminum heads. This includes Jon Kaase built pieces. Never had an opportunity to use them but consider that a strong endorsement. As far as iron heads go, massage a set of 2v heads (larger valves, port work, chamber work). Just MY humble opinion.
