what's the use of the car going to be?

i have a 600 holley dp and an edelbrock 289 performer intake. which performance heads would go good with them? i dont want to waste money on heads that my intake and carb arent goin to use their potential.

its an 85 mustang 5.0, right now stock cam looking to upgrade cam with heads, car just for street performance looking to have 280-300 hp
oh yeah i also have bbk underdrive pulleys, electric fan, mac shorty headers and offroad h-pipe
