I've I was reading a thread on "if you can mod any mustang what would it be?" For me it was a simple answer. 99 mustang.
It made me think what mustangs would I like to buy and leave original?
All the tribute mustangs ( Air Force & Carroll Shelby tribute)
Classics like the 70 BOSS 429, 70 Twister

I say go for what you know. If done right and parts are properly stored, you can always restore it back to original.

Mods can be great if done right. I'll probably just keep mine stock, but to each their own.

If I ever buy another one I will surely make it a monster.
