quick question... is bank 2 the passenger side? or drivers side?

bank 1 is whichever side the engines fuel inlet/pressure line to the fuel rail is on, so bank 2 would be the oppsite side to where the fuel enters onto the fuel rail under the hood.....

Bank 1 is RH side, Bank 2 is LH side.

this is NOT true, as I stated above...bank 1 is whatever side the fuel feed is on, as an example: on 1994 up Mustangs the fuel lines come into the engine compartment of the right/passenger side, so that is bank 1 and the leftside is bank 2....on fullsize Fords the fuel lines enter the engine compartment on the left/driver side, so thats bank 1 and bank 2 would be the passenger side...

the passenger side is always the right and the drivers side is always the left and measured/viewed as from sitting in the car.....

You always view the engine in those terms from the driver's seat like Randy said.
