Thanks in advance!

For about a minute after starting my 96GT there is a weird whine sound from the supercharger. It always has a high pitched sound, this is rougher sounding. It goes away soon though.
My undersatanding is that there is no oil in this unit, and no way to lube it.
What type of maintenance is there for a powerdyne supercharger? HA! a smaller pully:eyepoppin

~BTW I'm getting some syncromesh oil for my tranny, and looking into replacing my o2 sensors. THANKS!

My powerdyne does the same thing but I always thought it was the alternator because the whinning goes away after the volts have reached "M" on normal. I could be wrong though.

What manufacture and model blower do you have? Some blowers are sealed units and some have to be tapped into the oiling system of the car for lubrication.

Powerdyne has the "silent" (internal) belt drive system. If the thing sounds like it's gonna blow up, I would send the unit in to be looked at. If it's just something that you are being picky about, give it a while and see if it gets worse.
