OK, this may be a dumb question but...

I have an 05 GT, automatic (compromise to the wife), about 4500 miles on it since receiving it in August. Under hard acceleration, there is a noticable whistle sound coming from the engine. I am assuming that it is more air going to the engine, however I will claim ignorance to the workings of these new V-8 engines. I am wondering if this is normal or if anyone else has noticed this?

Thanks

Same happens on mine as well. I had always guessed it was the engine just sucking air too.
