Whose the number one a enemy of a mustang?

Simply the answer is a "mustang"
Although Ive read a post that is similar to this one, but I found that it is so correct that mustang owners (not everyone) are so selfish.
Even in college, mustang owners never compliment each other and are always mad.
Especially that day when i went to the dragstrip were i found 10 late year model ponies, each driver is wiggling around and looking at his enemies' mustang without mentioning a word, it feels like staying at a burial ceremony.
I encountered many chally and camaro owners and they were all nice and cheerful.

I do know that most people here on the forums are great people to talk to, but that what happens in reality, although im not talking about v6 owners only but also about v8 owners.

Even on the highway, whenever I encounter a new mustang, all i see is a rocket past through my front end.
Why are we jealous from each other? I don't know

Lol...lmfao...when I saw the title my first thought was another stang. Your right thought, it seems to be the truth. Just take it as it is. I've found that if your driving, not many stang owner give thumbs up or anything. But if they are outside of the car, they will. I guess is because they can't just run away. I don't know, I'm sure camaro guys have the same issues too. We just don't see it because we don't drive one.

here we go again.. 10th thread this month..

and may I add all the folks that ride Harleys are 1%ers, everyone who owns a truck is a ******* and all the people that own a Prius are hippies..

But in all seriousness, why do you need everyone Mustang owners' friendship? A true enthusiast wouldnt care anyway and be nice to you..

there is noway to get a "friendship" with every owner, im talking in general to what I've observed.
I do not even want a thumbs up...etc I just dont want a mustang owner to look at me as if ive done something wrong.

I ride motorcycles. I have been in Sports bike circles and there was some hatred amongst some owners. Always thought the dirt bike group did not have these issues.

Then I got a dirt bike and was in a couple of dirt riding groups and I realized there is friction among them too. Then I thought may be the much older and wiser "Adventure riding" groups are problem free.

Finally got my dualsport bike and joined a couple of adventure ridind groups. Guess what!! Its the same **** again.

No group is free of that BS IMO. Also, it depends on the area you live and the people you ride/drive/hangout with I guess. For example, Harley riders are much friendly here in central NC than hey were in central OH.

Just ignore it and have fun with your car. :bigthumbsup

PS: I did say "friendship" in a sarcastic way but did not mean to be disrespectful by any means. :)

Is it national sand in your vagina month around here?
Edit......................................................................
OP, I'm jealous cause you have the V8...:gringreen
I haven't experienced this ONCE. Not even once. Sure, some guys haven't waved back or nodded or whatever, but so what? Never made me wonder why that guy doesn't like me.

As for guys wanting to race, almost nobody ever wants to race me around here. No Challys, no Camaros, only the occasional import will try me. I don't know why. Maybe because there are too many speed trps around here.

What is this mustangs shouldn't race mustangs garbage? I'm not saying we should be out hunting each other and **** talking or anything, but if I bought a fast car and you bought a fast car, I shouldn't want to run you and see what you've got just because you have the same emblem on the back as me? That goes completely against the spirit of what muscle/pony (lets not get into THAT argument again) cars are about. What ever happened to the days of, we both bought this stock machine, but your mods and my mods are different. Bet mine's faster. Want to see?

I'm polite to everybody and appreciate anybody's nice ride, but I don't expect everyone to fawn over my ride, nor do I get upset when someone doesn't.

Sounds like some of us just get upset when everyone else doesn't jump to tell us how cool our car is.

Your mustang is very special to you but not necessarily to anybody else, and not every mustang driver is a mustang/Ford enthusiast. Only a small fraction of mustang owners visit a mustang forum. To very many, it's just a car...nothing more.
I want my click back.:yup:
thats wierd. never really took offense to other mustang owners and they havnt to me likewise. where i live it is definitly a camaro vs mustang war every damn day. if you pulls up behind you or beside you around where i live it means trouble. maybe this is why we all seem to like each other because we as a group are always in constant competition it seems. sometimes you just want to drive home from work without the bs.
whoever said this has one hell of a good point (to most people it is just a car) they might buy a mustang one year and then a camaro the next. these people are the ones that are generally quite unfriendly.

I wouldn't say mad i would say jealous. The thing i find the most hilarious thing is when someone does see my car and gives a compliment they always seem to have a friend that has a faster car than me and i just laugh it off and then this follows "but man your car is nice ,How much you pay for it?

I think, at this point, the Mustang's worst enemy might be Ford Motor Company.

+1 You took the words right out of my mouth.Every time I hear Eco Boost and 4 banger and the words NEW 2015 maybe in the Mustang I wanna puke.

Stand corrected. Dodge Charger RT wanted to play this morning. Well, maybe he did. He might have been just driving it like he stole it, and not calling me out in particular. Still, if you roll a Challenger, Camaro or Charger, and you tailgate the hell out of me, then launch past me, I assume you just threw down the gauntlet. .

Everyone complains fellow Mustang owners don't hug them? Psh. Come to a Honda meet where people are "nice", then follow you home and steal your car.
My first thought wasn't another mustang but an ignorant or just plaing stupid owner....being irresponsible.

I saw another owner the other day, it was a '13 5.0 base model. I was too busy thinking by the time I thought about a wave. The car was dirty and the owner looked like grizzly adams...lol
Anyone that want to race you lol.
