Hey guys,

Anyone know the widest tire I can put on the stock v6 wheels?

I really like the wheels, just the back tires are too skinny...

i liked the 16" wheels too, but because of the lack of any tire sizes for the 16x7 wheels i went to 17"( which is still lacking in tire choices). my last set of bfg`s on the 16" i went with 235/60-16. i was kinda disappointed cause they looked close to the same as the 215/65`s.

Hmm, maybe I will try out the 255s then..

What was the full size of your tires, Horse?

I figured I'd take these 215s off, get wide tires on the back, then when my front ones go I can just put on the old back tires on the front.

heres the 235/60-16. its 1/2" wider than the 215( at best).

oh its just the stock rim, with tires. the pic is what i meant lol....

is the pattern. they look alot better than the 215s. i upgraded to 17 inch 275s now.

i know, i just thought i`d post the pic. its the 7" rims thats the bummer. a 255 or even a 235 looks much wider on a 8" wheel. thats why once i toasted the 235-16`s, i had no intentions of any more 16" tires. if you want wide tires, your gonna have to bite the bullits, so to speak

heres a 255 on a 8" and a 275 on a 9" wheel. after doing this though, even though i love the look, i would not have went with that tall a back tire( but again, sizes were very limited) as its great for my dd, but kills the performance on the track. you`ll also notice it with that 255/65 05h is talking about. thats a taller tire too.

so now my answer is i`m gonna get 2 more wheels and 2 wide but shorter tires to throw on the rear for fun nights. or, i`ll use the frts on the rear, and get 2 wheels and skinnier tires for the frt. tough decision again, dang it :gringreen
