I have found some orginal ford fenders from a 67 coupe and was wondering if they will fit a 68 fastback.

Shouldn't see why not. I think the only difference is the back part of the car. Pretty much body parts usually go 64-66, 67-68. 69-70. 71 to I don't remember, 73 I think??

I just checked this on CJ's. The 68 fenders actually had holes in front of the wheels where a turn signal light (or reflecter?) is supposed to go. The 67 fenders didnt have this. Besides this the shape appears to be the same.
I forgot to state that in my last post. On that link, someone said to patch it up, or put in turn signals.

Thanks SDMustangRider I thought they would but before spending the bucks wanted to make sure. It won't be a problem to cut in the side marker lights.

That's what it is going on a 68.5 cj. Somebody put twain fenders on it. I am just getting ready to restore it as I just got it in May and found out the frame is off by 3/4 in. Should be starting on it in about 2 weeks.
