i had a 1996 gt with the odometer inoperative,i took the instrument cluster apart and found that the odometer is driven by tiny plastic gears that becomes really soft with time and came apart.i try to swap the mechanism with one from another cluster and it also broke while working with it,no way to fix it,get another cluster.
Will a 95 Instrument cluster work in a 98?
I have I 1998 Cobra I recently changed the motor in. I found an instrument cluster with mileage close to whet the motor has on it and the odometer in the car now isn't working. So the question is, will a 1995 cluster work in a 1998?
