I have a chance to pickup a 3 in cowl hood for my car.

I don't have truck so I might try and fit it in the hatch of my car.

I measured my hood vs. the trunk...looks close if I turn the hood.

Think it will fit. Anyone tried this. Or is this just a bad idea and am I asking for trouble

15 miles tops.

Forgot to mention that I don't have my rear seats in there. That should help a bit.

It won't hurt the hood not sitting flat?

Fiberglass? I dont think 15 miles will do any harm. The most harm you might do is damaging the hood getting it in there, just be careful so it doesnt chip. Too bad you couldn't get a truck for an hour....

if you have a home depot near you they have those rental f150s for like $20 an hour + gas. i would recomend that instead of squezing it into the mustang.
