I recently purchased some aftermarket 17x8 rims with a +35 offset for my 1998 Mustang and was wondering would they rub at all. It showed they fit 05-09 Mustangs and figured they where the same size as the 94-04 stangs, so do I need spacers or will fit ok? Any help is much appreciated.

I found out that the stock 94-04 17x8 GT rims have a 30mm offset, and the stock 05-09 17x8 rims have a 45mm offset people say the 05-09 rims will not fit 94-04 without wheel spacers. So mine might rub a tiny bit, might just buy the 1/4" wheel spacers on American Muscle that should make the offset 29mm?

You mean speedometer? I know how to adjust that to make it accurate, already done it a few times thanks to who ever added white face.

Also will 225 45 R17 tires fit on that size rim?

I bought 2 really nice tires but they are 215 45 R17 would they fit ok on a 17"x8" rim? Was thinking of 215s in front and 225 or 245 for rear.
