Will this work?

I took off the air intake from the fender wall (untill it meets the MAS) and put in a K&N filter right where the mass air sensor is. will that hurt any thing? its just for now untill my CAI comes in.:smoke:

You should leave the housing and AI silencer there.

That's why you should leave the AI seilncer in.

It's a restriction on 5.0Ls and above, but it's not a restriction on 6s. In fact, removing it can cost you 5 hp, and incorrect readings from your MAF, which can affect idle quality.
