Window weather strips. Can't find. 1994 Mustang GT

Today I was securing things in the yard for the upcoming Hurricane/Tropical Storm Sandy that is suppose to hit where I live around 1 AM. I arranged mine, my dads, and my moms mustangs in the driveway close to the fence and as far away from the nearest tree as possible as we do not have a garage.

I decided to take the car cover off of my car because it has a habbit of blowing off in normal thunderstorms and I didn't want to risk it blowing away in this storm (it's not even water proof so it doesn't really matter too much).

I want to get new window weather strips that go from the backside of the window around to the top and end at the front of the window (go from mirror around to door handle). I want new ones because the ones I have found at junk yards are cracked and pretty much worthless.

So far I can not find any sites that sell the weathering strips, and American Muscle (where I get most of my parts from) only sells the bottom inside/outside weather strip for the door window.

Also; I don't need them right away or anytime soon, I used several layers of painters tape to seal my car up good for the storm:bigthumbsup:heha:, but the storm made me realize now that I am doing serious work on my interior I should probably seal it up good.

Good luck on that, you might as well go to a storage place and store them a month till the storm passes
Thanks bubbadog. OP, we also have a forum discount you can use. Check out this thread. http://www.allfordmustangs.com/foru...-com/325742-allfordmustangs-com-discount.html

Let me know if you have any questions.
Good luck with the storm as I am used to it down here in Miami.

The worst part will be all the rain you guys will be slammed with as it will wreck some havoc.

Watch out with that basketball rim, that awning, the hose and other loose items around the yard.
Damn, man, how 'bout raking some leaves?

Thanks! I think I might deal with the tape for a little longer. Didn't realize they where $110 each! :what:

Everything that has any chance of blowing around is either secured or put into the shed:bigthumbsup. The hose is wound up and tied to the stand its on and to the railing for the front porch tot he right of it. The basketball rim isn't going anywhere. It has been there for about 20-30 years and is cemented in. Tried taking it out and its so rusted that I can't even get the rim to separate from the backboard.:heha:

I went over my lawn twice in the past week with my ride on and a rake. As the winds are picking up the trees are dropping more and more leaves. Haven't felt like risking going outside just to rake up the leaves that will probably blow away after the storm. :shigrin
I am pretty sure the leaves will all be gone this morning. How are you guys faring?
Not a leaf to be seen in my yard... my neighbor on the other hand... well... he has some raking to do .

Didn't get it nearly as bad as we thought we would, power flickered a few times. Only got 1/2 worth of rain. It was mostly wind. Lost a few branches, one of which scratched my hood up pretty good, but better my hood than my parents, I need to repaint anyways due to scratches from storing things on it and what not over the years.

All in all I'm pleased with the outcome :bigthumbsup. I swear the hurricane literally went around us. I was originally suppose to get hit by the eye of the storm as predicted a week ago.
