I am preparing my Mustang for winter storage and was looking to get any helpful tips.

Also, it is okay to store the Mustang with its 18 inch rims still on?
(the garage is not heated)

Thanks,
Ryan

Yes it will be fine, although my friend always puts his up on jack stands for the winter. That may be over kill but its whatever you prefer.

More important is the tires: if they're a performance rubber compound, then they should be stored in a warm area. I usually take off my 18s, store them in the basement, and drive around on my stockers with winter rubber.
Since it seems like you're storing your whole car, I might take the wheels off an roll them inside somewhere. Is the garage at least insulated? How cold does it get?
