Im storing my 87 mustang for the winter in one of those portable garage type things. Iv never stored a car over the winter so I could use a few helpful pointers. Does anyone have any winter storage basics? Like should I put any stabilizers in the gas? Leave the battery disconnected? etc. Thanks

What i would do during storage, is disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery. And leave the battery in car. Some people believe taking the battery out is a good thing to do, its best to leave it in the car. Fuel stabalizer would be a good idea.... i think gas goes bad after something like 3 months of sitting, i could be wrong.

I wished i had my mustang in storage for the winter, but i got nothing else to drive. So im sliding around all winter with 3.55:1 rear end gears, actualy kinda fun :thumbsup

Yes put Sta-Bil in the tank. Change your fluids and clean the car. Try to start it about once a month and let it run up to operating temp and try to move it around a bit.
