Why is there a delay between sweeps on low speed? I've had my GT since April but it was only the other day I had to really use them.
High is way to fast for regular rain. If we wanted a pause between sweeps we use delay so why this stupid delay on low?

Probably because it knows that it hasn't rained since April so you must not need a whole lotta wipin'.

What, you've never been to Florida?

It's doing our typical fall rain here in SE AK... my primary ride (read "beater" tho its not too bad really) for these kind of days is in the shop being worked on (something about a lead foot & busted motor mounts)... so the 'stang has been driven in weather it generally wont become acustomed to.

Long story short, I had wipers on all day when driving today and with them in the "normal/standard" position, I didn't notice any delay at all. Fast is too fast unless its absolutely pouring down rain... which it does here more often than I'd like to admit & having lived in Florida before, can attest it really comes down there (albeit for only an hour or two instead of 30 days consecutively). Intermitent works fairly well... and does what it says.

Cant honestly see why yours has a pause to em in normal operation. Maybe the intermitent is turned up to 5 & you only pushed the wiper lever up to the first detent? It's either that or something is amiss... all I can think of. Either way, in the middle (normal/standard) position (as opposed to the 3rd position of racecar fast or 1st position of "light mist / user selected pause"), mine work fine, no pauses... I did have an issue with the wipers leaving a film on the windshield, but they seem to slowly be wearing that off now (too damn much rain lately... somebody send us some sunshine!)

I have already had to have my wiper motor replaced....

It worked fine through the end of the winter season and then it stopped rainning for a while, and then when it rained some more in the spring, they didn't work right anymore...

Basically, I had two speeds, which according to my service guy, no matter what happens, you'll always have at least 2 speeds (delay and fast).

All speeds had the same delay excaept for the last one that went super fast... I took it in and they had to order the part and fix it a few days later... In the meantime, the wipers work, but were annoying (either too fast or too slow)...

Anyway, check the different settings to see how many speeds you actually have (if there is any difference between settings) and if there isn't, you may want to get it looked at...

My 2 cents... :)

I know here in ol' Georgia, I have more than once wished for a FASTER setting than the highest one. No delay on the first constant setting, though...

I just rechecked and looks like I have a problem, no low speed. Kinda glad as I thought it was designed like that. Now just have to get over my hangup of having someone work on my baby.

"Sorry sir, warranty if VOID as lowering your vehicle has resulted in a voltage drop in your entire electrical system..."

Or how about "...sequential tail lamps caused voltage pulsations..."

As you all can see, I so look forward to my first dealer experience :sosad:
