Hey everyone, I am trying to wire up some footwell lights so that they come on with my dome lights. I was following this guide(http://www.cherod.com/mustang/HowTo/footwellLights.htm), however I ran into a problem. I'n not sure which wires to tap in to because there is no black wire with a blue stripe. And there are two green wires with yellow stripes. Any help would be appreciated because I am at a loss on how to figure out which are the correct wires.

when I picked up this wire I used the wire diagram on this site (GT section?) and the location was right but the color was wrong. right side lower kick panel...just find the wire that drops voltage as the dome dims.

Ive done this on mod on a 03 dodge ram i use to have. I spliced into one of the wires in the map lights up front using an led strip. then grounded the negative wire. It lit up. Closed the door map lights turned off as well as the led strip. Pushed one side of the map lights and the led strip lit up.

I then ran down the wires down the pillar and installed the led strips under the dash area by my feet.. so every time i opened the door just that side foot well would light up. Example driver door open only driver side led will light up. Passenger side door opens passenger side only led strip lights up.

Yeah I'll have to take another look at it. There's a bunch of wires so I'm really not sure which one to splice into. I'll keep this post updated.
