hey guys i was just wondering, i bought a turbo 2.3 engine from a junkyard but the turbo has been sold before i got to it,
i was wanting to know if i did N/a with a carb and alot of head work how much HP (max) would a 2.3 be able to make?

and if i did go N/a i would want to maybe run N02 also, but i dont understand how it works, people say when you use N02 with EFI the computer senses it and sends more fuel also. how does a carb know to do this?

Forget it that motor makes 90HP without a turbo. You need a turbo Plain and simple!! Peace Tom

If you want a good head to put on a 2.3 look at spending about 1500 to 2000, a good carb about 500 dollars. you could get a 2500 crank out of a ranger and order the 5.7 rod kit from esslinger racing i think its 650 with, rods, pistons, rings, bearings. I think esslinger gets about 225 out of their 2500 motors.
