From everything I have read, there is really only one significant difference between the x- and h-pipes. The X is going to allow for more free flow so you may be able to gain another couple of hp over the H. The H, however, gives you a deeper rumble than the X-pipe does. It's entirely your call based on what you want to get most out of the true dual setup.

This is the first mod I am going to tackle in the spring too, so be sure to keep us updated on how it goes! :bigthumbsup

I went with the h and GT takeoffs and have had plenty "That's a V6?!" comments. I love it!!

I went with the Pypes true duals with the catted x pipe and it still sounds great! But if you want more of a throaty sound, i've heard that the h pipe is better. Like everybody else said, it's all up to what you want

In an effort to break up the cost, I'm going to postpone the Flowmasters and run Pypes x pipe with GT takeoffs.

also you should look into getting some headers as well.

That will deepen your tone a bit as well.

Depending on cash amounts, it would be a good idea to get the whole setup at once.

As Bcoburn said, you can get the base kit off newtakeoff for 300 and add another 290 you can add headers.
That will give you true duals, deeper tone, and a good platform to work from if you go Forced Induction.
