Ok, so i'll admit that yeah I am a *******, i.e. I live in the middle of nowhere Illinois. So as you can guess we have a lot of "loud" trucks around here. Basically any truck you can think of with str8 pipes. Even when I am just crusing around here I always seem to get "piped," where the guy throws it into nuetral and stomps on it to get that "awesome" cackle! I just kind of laugh at it and carry on because its unfair to kill an overweight sloth. But the other day this guy in like a 95' chevy 1500 really irriated me. He kept following, jumping in front of me and kept piping me. So we hit a stop light and I lit up the back tires for show while the light was still red. When it turned green well it was over in a heartbeat...but how irritating is that!?? They know they can't take a fast car, yet they still want to screw with you. Anyone else who lives in the middle of nowhere have this issue?

I get that a few times a week too... my uncle is notorious for that actually...I don't even know what kinda truck he has except it's an older Ford F-series truck... He thinks doing that when he drives by girls crossing the street is a good thing and the girlies will like him...oh poor uncle...poor poor uncle

Hmm... here too... while Cincinnati aint NY or LA one would think going by downtown should be ******* free... lol! There is ALWAYS trucks revving, pushing, accelerating, falling back... whatta hey do they want??? I used to smoke 'em but what's the use... might get a ticket, will burn fuel, etc. etc...

They are like ricers... change the exhaust and they think they have a 10 sec car... cheeze!

Yea, I know exactly what your talking about. My advise: don't ever come through Strafford, Missouri probably one of the most *******, boondock places around. Any one will race any one in anything mainly just for fun and because there's not anything else to do. Consider this: when I was in high school we had an "ugliest truck/ best looking tractor day," where everyone drove their farm truck or tractor to school. Example two: Ever go muddin'? Well around here everyone does. Doesn't matter if you have a truck or not, I've seen four door escorts go muddin' out in a field, and by the way, yeah I'm a ******* hick too.

Whats really sad is to see a Toyota Tundra with that kind of exhaust system...there's one in my hometown and its retarded :hihi:

There's also an F-150 V6 with Glasspacks here, too. It has the most annoying sound any vehicle could ever make, and he has NO power. lol.... some people's kids these days...

Bring the F-150 guy online, we'll straighten him out!

My 1st project car was an F-150, I used to wax corvettes in it, it had a bult 351M in it (offshoot of the cleveland).

aah hell that's to funny we had the same contest at my high school. only difference was some people drove a tractor to school everday. i'm sure it is still the same way, even after several years. speaking of muddin' any self respecting southerner knows anything and everything about muddin'. i got a good one for ya, ever seen a pacer in the mud i have. it was my buddy funniest thing i have ever seen. but it did have a built 302 in it.

Thank God I'm not the only one that has to put up with this crap. I live in the Twin Cities (where everyone thinks they are from LA or NY but in reality they are ********.) and I have to put up with trucks with 143" lift kits and "loud pipes" all the time. Now please don't get me wrong I am there is nothing wrong with being a *******, but don't get in front of me, slow down, then gun it to show off how loud your truck, car, van, or motorcycle is because one of these days I'm going to say F--k it and pop it in third and show you what 420 HP looks, feel, and sounds like! I know that the new Mustangs draw a lot of attention and that's fine but it seems like a lot of people just want to see how much S--t you'll put up with until you either throw the hammer down:happyhapp , flip them the bird:mad: , or slow way down and wave them on. OK done venting.

Yeah we have them here too. I even had one spit on my window while I was in my mom's T/A. I was on a date and that was the only thing that kept me from getting out of the car and yanking ole "Bubba" through the window.

Not a whole lot you can do about them though.

My experience has been that, usually a rev, or a quick burst of speed, or maybe the sound of some tires chirping will usually placate these guys. It doesn't bother me, hell, I like doing those things - I'm looking for a reason!!! I figure most of 'em would rather be driving our cars, but they need their trucks. I could use one, but I'm glad I don't have one.

I'd be careful with trucks, I've seen a few modded power-stroke deisels absolutely destroy mustangs. Saw some videos online that they added a power pack or something to those chevy 2500's/Ford F250's and they can be putting down 500+tq at the wheels.

There are not many on the road I'm sure but they are out there....just don't want any of my fellow mustang buddies to get embarassed when they think a 3+ ton truck can't get up and go:winks .

Tw0scoops123 you speak nothing but the truth!!! About a month ago I was at a stop sign and a hulking diesel truck pulled up next to me and gave me a little little rev (so he wouldn't give anything away). I looked over and he gave me the thumbs up so when the light turned green we hit it. I didn't take him seriously so I didn't go that hard (Oops, my first mistake) and it was just a matter of time until I heard the turbo(s)? kick in and that rig took off like no other truck I've ever seen.:worship :worship By that time I had no chance so I cruised along until we were at the next red light and asked him what he did to his truck. His response was too many things to list but about $8000.00 in power adders (including turbo). He said if he had to have a truck for work it was going to be a Kick A-- one! I have nothing but respect for that, like some have mentioned above, some people have to have trucks for work so make the most of them. I've seen the guy heading in the opposite direction on that same street a few time since then and we exchange friendly waves but I can't wait until we can line up next to each other again because next time I'll be ready for him!! (Since that day I've added the S/C, X-Pipe, injectors, and pullys)

Some guy in a Dodge Hemi revved on me and I whupped him twice. After it was all over and done, I rolled down the window, and asked him if that thig had a Hemi.

He said yeah, so I told him, "well, it's still not as fast as this little Ford six cylinder, huh?"

Then I left him again.
