Put the new Magnaflow Tru-X Xpipe in this weekend and...when installing noticed that the hangers ware welded off the top of the pipes, the originals are welded from centre of the pipes. The hangers did not slide in to the hanger holder without me first taking out couple of bolts out of a transmission support bracket and the fit was tighter than I would have liked. Once the X pipe was in and tightened I reinstalled the two bolts I removed. There isn’t much room now between the hangers and the transmission support bracket. Has anyone come across this before??? Am I going to have to take it to a muffler shop and get the hanger cut off and relocated?:headscratch:

Sounds like about a 15 minute job to have those cut and relocated.

Here is the link to the before and after. Excuse the start up with the new exhaust, car been sitting in the shop since Oct 1. I was just glad is fired up.
