I'm currently running BBK headers into a BBK x-pipe and I want to put some high flow cats on and remove the X. I'm sure I'll lose some performance and add a little quiet to the setup but I'm tired of trying to get it inspected with the X if you know what I mean.

So, the question is, is it just the x-pipe that gets taken out or will there be other plumbing problems and..

What cats are recommended?

Thanks!

Unless your exhaust is welded, just do yourself the favor and just buy a catted midpipe to swap for inspection.

Tks 88, I installed it and it's not welded.. I'll take your advice. Once a year won't kill me. Just getting older and hate climbing under it anymore.. haha!

It's a pain to get under there and swap pipes but it's just once a year.
