yellow filters for fog lights?

I like being able to drive with my GT's fog lights on because I can't see all that great at night. But when I do - invariably somebody will brite me, assuming that 4 white lights on the front means that I'm brighting them. :anianger: Well, that doesn't help me see any better, and I'm tired of flashing my brights at *them* to try and educate them. There's just too many idiots. So what if I tint them a little bit yellow? Is there such a thing? Like a stick-on film?

Thanks!

I would be inclined to leave them the way they are and just put up with the flashing of the brites. If you tint them you may render them useless if you do require them in foggy conditions. I drive with my fogs on all the time and I've been fortunate not to have anyone flash their lights at me so far, but mostly likely I'll get one who does eventually.

You asked for it...

here is the solution you seek, www.showlenses.com
drive with amber ALL the time...
Rickman and 66stang351 - how much do these filters cut down on the light coming from the fogs? I just want to tint them a little bit, so that they're not so white, but I still want them to assist my night vision.

Thanks!

PM or email off the board. better yet, call the tel # on the homepage anytime. we dont wanna clutter up the forum w/ sales pitches. just trying to be respectful of the rules :sterb: lol
SunBoss, My experience with the tint overlays is they don't cut down the amount of light emited at all. Just the tint by itself, the lights on at night still look white. I installed Nokia Hyper Artic "Yellow" bulbs, replacing the factory white bulbs. Now the fogs do indeed shine yellow and just as bright. http://usera.imagecave.com/systang/05Mustang/DSC00351.JPG :eyepoppin
I have mine amber too. The tint shop that did my windows gave me some of the yellow window tint and I did them myself. Took some time with the lense curve but after its done it looks great. Like rickman says, drive with amber all the time. :winks
