your opinion on stripes selection

I am currently hoping to lay stripes on my 08 torch red soon to make my senior pictures really stand out. Though im not sure what color stripes would look best. I currently have the black rocker stripes along the side, but i have saw some pics with the old boss "C" stripe and they look sick. I was looking towards doing double stripes front to back top/bottom along the top with the "C" stripes on the side, all in silver. What do you guys think? I personally think silver will compliment my new chrome 338 boss wheels. Thanks for your posts!

meh. it would look weird, the stripes are not going to be as shiny, so if ou are trying to match them to the chrome rims, it wouldnt be close to a perfect match.. i would go with some 10in lemans stripes from bumper to bumper.. either white or black.. not silver.
Single large stripe

I eventually had this single large stripe mounted on my GT. It has a carbon-like finish and it comes in different colours, including silver. However, in the end I believe that it is a matter of taste. It took me several weeks to decide and I kept changing my mind every time that I saw a different combination of stripes in this web site ...

I would get rid of the black rocker stripes and throw som 10 3/4 inch gloss white shelby stripes on it!!! That red with white stripes is a true classic stang look. Another idea would be to get the c stripes in black, leave the rocker stripes and maybe get the super stripe just on the hood - super stripe is like a thick 24 inch block on the hood.
I would say either matte black or white stripes for a red car.
Silver would look good with those wheels IMO . There are so many different kinds of stripes so be careful choosing. I went through two diff styles of stripes before i fully decided.

Robbymoon I like your stripes a lot and that side stripe is definitely awesome imo. Has anyone ever saw blue stripes on red?
I think silver or white would look good, but I don't know about blue.

Some kind of silver stripes should look pretty good on your red '08 coupe.
Besides, who would ever want a torch red S197 Mustang with black stripes?

This is my vote too.
Does anyone have a picture of a Torch Red with dual silver stripes over the top? If you could post a picture it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Thanks for the compliment. this is the best thing i could find.

I agree with EZZY 1 --remove the black rocker stripes--It also took me a long time to decide on stripes--I personally did not want the stripes to be the focus point on car so went with matte black stripes and the old BOSS style side stripes. But on a Red Mustang-white does look really good
Thanks guys! You've helped a lot, i think im going to go with the white vinyl stripes with no rocker. Will post pictures when i get them laid.:smilie
wise decision

You will not be dissapointed, get some pictures when they are completed...do the 10 3/4 standard size, the 12 inch ones are not original and are wider than F&^k!!
