I was at a stoplight sitting next to a '98 Z28 a couple of days ago- the light turned green, he punched it, I heard this big 'WHUMP', followed by a lot of smoke coming out from under his hood.
I just eased out in 1st and laughed at him as I went by! :gringreen

I've noticed that all the Z28s that I have seen are always beat up by some young punk. But when I see a GT it always is owned by some nice guy that really polishes. It really doesn't surpise me that he blew up the engine. Since camaros are so ugly all they do is beat them up and race them. I mean what are they going to do. Polish them?

Actually, that happened to an IROC a buddy of mine had, while I was riding with him.
Same dude always bagged on my Fords, "but we never had to call a tow truck for my cars...." I loved to tell him that, every time his POS broke, which was often!

He was a Proud AAA member. He used to ask why I wasn't, my reply:
"I havn't needed it yet, with my lowly, unreliable Fords. Good thing you are, though."

(I am a member, but never had to use it, and I loved to rub it in on him!)

GM is on the verge of going bankrupt, but I dont see it happening. Rumors are out that Saturn and pontiac may not be around after next year.
