Can someone please explain to me how to get the ignition barrel out of the steering column. I f possible a few phots of what you are describing would be great.
The workshop manual I have says to insert a 1/8th wire into the locking pin hole adjacent to the ignition barrel. I can only find one hole anywhere near the ignition barrel and there is no locking button in there.
I have a feeling that the ignition barrel has been changed once before, and I also feel that it has been put back in the wrong position. Would this cause a problem with relocating the locking pin.
