I want to use a head gasket sealer in a bottle. the directions say to flush out all coolant first. i'm on a tight budget. how do i do a flush? also the directions say to open the drain **** and the engine drain plugs. when i look i can easily find the radiator drain plug, but i can only see one engine drain plug. is there a diagram that shows where the engine drain plufs are? is there a way to make removing the engine drain plugs easier? Help! i'm trying to keep my cool.

the drain plugs should be on both sides, same location. Are they wanting you to put in new coolant with the sealer? if so, you can drain from the radiator and keep feeling with water, then drain and keep doing that till it runs clear. Then at the 50/50 mix and sealant or how ever they want you to do it. :bigthumbsup

they want you to change your oil and your coolant, because a lot of times when a head gasket fails these fluids will mix, ruining them.

just change the oil,
and you can flush the radiator yourself, disconnect the upper & lower hoses and stick a garden hose into the upper radiator opening (not the radiator cap).

also, the radiator only has one drainplug.
