I have been told that the PINK fuel injectors are a 21#/hr injector. but the cats over at diablosport seem to think that all mustangs come out with a 19# injector. So who is correct? Who is wrong? How can I find out. I have been trying to do the foot work my self but have tried everywhere i can think of. Ford racing,Bosch, many local dealers, here,Ford motorsports,...................... any help would be great . because I am thinking that the factory tune is more aggressive than that of the pre-installed "diablosport" tune?? I am trying to find out if I just wasted money??

I've delt wth this subject since 2001 and I have 26+ years in the Ford parts business, 30+ years of racing Ford products, I've been around tunning EEC cars since the begining, I have some of the top tunning shops in the USA as customers and last the part # for the injector is a FOTZ-9F593-DA which replaced the FOTZ-9F593-C, which replaced a F2TZ-9F593-A which replaced the E8TZ-9F593-D which has been in use on Ford products wth MAF and on speed density cars and trucks since 1987, so do you need more proof of my credentials:headscratch:

Ok so when i put in the tune from DIABLOSPORT my 03' GT runs a little less better than when I adjust the factory tune . using the pre-installed tune on the predator seems to make my car run a little flogged? The cats over at DIABLOSPORT are not much help either. They keep telling me to get a custom tune. I tell them, this is why I bought the handheld tuner cause I DO NOT have a mod motor. I do have a BBK CAI,Delta 40 catback system. any ideas on what I could do?? If I turn off the torque modulation will destroy my tranny with out a trans cooler?
Thanks for the help man:strut

ok, if you "DO NOT have a Mod motor" what engine package do you have and what electronics are you using:headscratch:

Umm maybe I am not so sure?? how would I find this out? I do know it is a stock 4.6sohc ,automatic trans.,BBK CAI,75mm throttle body, fllowmaster delta 40 catback system, DIABLOSPORT custom tune for my car made by diablosport tuners. I do not think that it has any "special" performance package installed from the dealership or at the build? But I may be wrong, how can I find out?? Thru the VIN.?:headscratch:
These are good questions.

kinda' hard for me to read but fron what I do sea, looks like you have some contamination in the fuel tank, maybe a rust problem which is a common problem today wth the Ethanol blends of fuel we have.....I do sea where they removed the tank and inspected it but ther has been a bunch of problems wth the fuel filler pipe rusting at the check valve on the end where it goes into the tank and they may not have looked at it.... last, check the fuel filler grommet as there also prone to cracking and spliting, causing fuel to leak out but also contaminates to enter the tank, this condition is also due to the ethonal in the fuel today as it drys-out the rubber grommet and causes it to split and crack

Randy, after some data loging we have found out that it is running lean, from my CAI ,my o2 sensors are detecting this causing my pcm to compensate, by opening my EGR valve causing a surging.does this sound correct to you???

maybe, when is the EGR valve opening up? as it's only suppose to open at part throttle....
do you have the stock air intake you can put back on and sea if that changes anything?
