I purchased a mount from Roush to put a gauge in one of my heater vents. I plan on installing a mechanical vacuum/ boost gauge there. Has anyone run a vacuum gauge line through the firewall? Any suggestions on the best routing for ease of installation and no future leaks?

If you have a automatic transmission: You can access through a triangular section where the clutch pedal would go for a manual. This will place you just under the drivers hood hinge area. (Sorry no photo)

If you have a manual transmission: There is a grommet underneath the dash that lines up behind the left front wheel well. I attached some photos of this grommet.

I found some photos of the firewall access for the automatic transmission Mustangs (Courtesy of Don_W). The third photo is under the hood / drivers' side. Hope this works out for you.
