Can someone with a 65 or 66 stang tell me or take pictures with measurements of their engine bay. Both from firewall to raidiator support ( passenger & drivers side) and then front of the engine bay from side to side ( front & back) and then the measurements from shock tower to shock tower. I've seen the diagram of frame dimensions before. I'm looking more for measurement off of one of your guys cars. Pictures would be awesome. My car is way out of square . I need these measurements ASAP because I have the weekend off and want to start working on it.

Thanks
Danny

I'll give it a try. These are from my 65 Fastback. All measurements are from the center of the bolt hole. The 3rd pic is from the center of the bolt hole to the edge of the radiator support.
Hope this helps. Good Luck. :bigthumbsup

65 fixup your the man! thank you.
could i trouble you to get the measurements between frame rails at the front of the engine bay and the back of the engine bay?

btw amazing car

Hey Danny

I can take those frame measurements for you but to be accurate, I'm going to give you a page from the 65 Ford Shop Manual which is what I would use for correct specs. This will give you points to take your measurements from. Remember that when it comes to frames, you have to take diagonal measurements from the same points on each side. Your measurement numbers must be the same for the frame to be considered "square".

Lizer: Good catch. Those bolts are presently at the "Horn Bolt Refinishing Shop" here in Los Angeles. Those 2 in the picture are just temporary replacements that they sent me. Should be done soon, I hope. :heha:

Thank you so much. I have recently purchased a '65 for a restomod project.
