i just bought the new one, no idea where it is located..under the car? or do you need to go from behind back seats?
What year Mustang and is it a front or rear sensor? 99-04 GTs have 4 sensors, one at each wheel. If your car is a 99-04 I can email you a picture of the locations. Pm me your email address.

Its likely attacked to the strut or spindle behind the wheel near the brakes. Its shaped like a cylinder and points at the crenelated ring around the spindle, this is how it monitors if the wheels lock up. Once you have the wheel off it should be easy to replace, one bolt and a wire connector.
