there really not that much involved in putting them on(as in tools). but they are a pain in the ass to take off and put on. this is what i did to put my long tubes on. I chaned my flywheel at the same time so i had my transmisstion off when i took the stock ones off. take the passenger side motor mount off so you can raise and lower that side of the engine. You should be able to get to all 8 bolts pretty easy like that. ( i also removed my CAI) that side is pretty easy to do. the dirver side i unbolted the steering column and moved it out of the way. gives you a little more room to work. don't be suprised if you spend 15 to 20 minutes on a bolt lol I didn't have a lift though so it probably will go alot faster for you...good luck

the engine mount bolt is one bolt that is no problem taking off or putting back on. You don't have to if you can reach all the bolts...i couldn't but maybe you can since you have a lift? it just made it alot easyier raising the engine a little to reach them.

If you are just planning on lifting the motor up a couple inches, you need to disconnect the transmission cross member, starter, battery, motor mounts, steering column, intake... and wiggle the oil tube out of the way a little. The install is a pain in the ass. And BBK did you the favor of putting the bolt holes in a way that is nearly impossible to get at. If I could do it again, I guess I'd take it to a shop. At least I know if I blow a header gasket, I would be taking it somewhere. That was a miserable install.

I just did a long tube install on my Bullitt and didn't have to unbolt the tranny or anything, not to sure how much different the install is between long tube and short tube but here are the step by step directions i followed. Good luck man

Do yourself a big favor and just take it to a shop that has experience...I was dumb and dived right into it and it s***. everything about the install was a BIG pain in the a**.
Atleast if a shop does the install and you end up with a gasket leak you'll have somewhere to drop it off. believe me once you do it you'll never want to do ity again, I promise.:happyhapp
