I just bought a 83 gt stang but the carb is not on it. What is the best carb to put on it? The car has 57000 miles on it if that can narrow things down a little.Thanks

600 CFM is probobly good enough (edelbrock)..holly has a double pumper carb. so it keeps squirting gas as long as your stepping on the pedal but its gonna cost you mileage...Edelbrock's are simple to work on and don't leak, and also perform OK

If you don't want to constantly adjust it......go with the Edelbrock!
