My Boss 302S wheel came in today :) and I thought I would share.
I only got 1 19 x9 wheel to see if I was going to like the wheel on the car. I think I do :) so I will be ordering 3 more soon(all 19x9 so I can rotate the tires). :bigthumbsup
I am going to but the stock black centercap on these wheels not the ford racing logo.

Here are some picks. Sorry no good full side shots with it on the car. I didnt want to take the car out of the garage and my garage is kinda cramped.

according to my bathroom scale they weigh 29 lbs

What's not to like......Looks great ! It is a forged wheel I assume, if you don't mind sharing what is the price ?

I do not think that it is forged, I am not an expert but the rear of the wheel looks the same as the factory brembo wheel which is cast I believe.

I got the wheel for $240 shipped to my door from CJ Ponyparts

And I do like them

I agree, the brembo's look nicer. And you need a massive drop to correct the SUV type gap with the boss wheels

I was thinking about the same thing with the drop. But it is the same size tire as the stock tire.

When I first put it on I liked the boss wheel better, it was daylight, but from these pictures I could go either way. I will try to take a pic in better light, maybe tomorrow, it is raining today.

Its all opinion but on the money side of things, you could save yourself $1000 if you stick stock.

Boss wheels. At least for mine anyway. On the Kona, seems like another color besides black, or an all silver wheel would pop more. All the Brembo wheel lovers may want to PM me if they want a set this summer...

Boss 302R Wheels

Those wheels are cast aluminum, NOT forged.

At 29 lbs. for cast wheels, those are light.

Best forged wheels for Mustangs are the 302R wheels made by BBK. 18x10's, 21 lbs. each. But stock studs won't work - need 0.625" studs - available through Ford Racing.

Agree, need to have an all-machined wheel in addition to the painted black.

On your photos, personally, I like the 302R wheels rather than the Brembo's. I'm planning on going with 19x10's in rear and 19x9's in front.

I like them. I may use the stock 19" Brembo wheels for my winter wheels and use these for my summer wheels as I can go with 285 tires in the rear with the 19 x 10's. IMO 255 is way too narrow for a rear tire with these cars.

i like brembo's better on your car. theres just not enough change there to warrant the cost

I think that I like them. Now my dilemma is do I get the 9" all the way around or do I get the 10" in the back?

I was going to go 9" all the way around and use the stock tires but I am thinking about getting the wider rim in the back to get more meat in the back.

Me Too!

I'm thinking about doing exactly what your doing. My car is on order, but when it lands I plan on taking the Brembo rims off and selling them (or maybe using them for winters) and putting on the 302S wheels (or possibly 19" GT500 wheels if I can find some.) The main problem I have with the Brembo package is I feel they don't fill the rear wheel openings very well. They just look too darn small.

One day I went to a dealership and measured the height of all the tire packages on the Mustangs. The diameter from the top of the tire to the ground was 26.53 inches on the Brembo car. That was lower than an MCA Mustang with 18" rims. It was 1 inch lower than a GT with the 19" Premium Luster Nickel-Painted Aluminums.

I would go with the staggered set up, wider tires in back personally.

The other cool thing is that there are quite a few Brembo cars out there - and not many Mustangs with the 302S wheels - so you will be a little more unique.

I found the pic of the yellow Mustang on the internet. Hope it helps you visualize.

I think they're ok but I would put money into the suspension to lower the car down before you buy the other wheels/tires.

the car would look a lot better period IMO.
