Hello Chris,
What are the differences between the Bama Street (S), Performance (P) and Racing (R) tunes? Please help me choose the right tunes for my Mustang and driving.
My 2011 5.0 has the 6-speed manual transmission, 3.55:1 differential, stock 18" diameter wheels, and no power adders or other modifications. So the exhaust and air intake are stock Ford and will remain that way.
As for my driving habits, I do not race on a drag strip or road course, but I do like occasionally putting the pedal to the metal on the street and getting onto the interstates.
I am looking for more torque below 3000 rpm, better throttle response, and a minimal or no reduction in gas mileage. The rising cost of gasoline is a concern to me, so my Mustang principally runs with 87 octane gasoline. What would you recommend, the "S" or the "P" tunes?
