I have an 03' Mustang Mach 1. This is a stupid question but is it a good idea to buy drag radial tires for both your front and back wheels? and which drag radials would be best for my car. i plan to use the tires mostly on the streets and a little on the track. thanks.

No need to run them all around. Good set of dr's on the back and street radials on the front (looks best if they are same brand) is all you need. DR's are strictly better for dry forward traction, a good street radial will give you better side wall stability in front, and better handling, and will cost less than the comprarible DR's in back.

I believe that nitto has the best drag radials for the price, and as for size; well it depends on what size wheels your running.

Also just like above dont run DR's all the way around, a friend of mine did this and on the way home from the track one day it started raining and well needless to say his car is in the junk yard, front end got away from him on an off ramp.

Nitto and mickey thompson make the best drag radials. Using them on the front will actually slow you down, they add rolling resistance, and they have too much sidewall flex to help in turns. Best bet is to get a pair of stock wheels and have the DR's mounted on them, that way you can put them on when you run, and use street tires for the rest of your driving, even the best DR's don't last very long, and they aren't cheap either.
