Hi,

I started getting the Service Engine light on my EcoBoost after 6000KM and have been going to the dealership on a weekly basis without a final fix.
This is what they tried for now (each point below belong to a separate visit):
1. Changed one spark plug.
2. Changed the coil for that spark plug.
3. Change the coil for the 4 cylinders.

I got an OBD bluetooth unit and found out that the error I keep getting is
Error Code: P0303 (Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected).
The misfire mainly occurs on a cold start. The car shakes with a weird engine sound. In 1 minute, everything goes back to normal.

Did anyone face the same problem and found a solution that he can share with me?

Tell the dealer service manager you know they are trying, but its time to get distric service rep involved. That you are tired of all the trips to dealer.mention lemond law. Used to be three trips for the same problem.make sure they are documenting. Get copies of work orders

Your not the only one, I am having the same problem. I think it was after I installed my mmr intake "Big Tube". Everytime I do go I take off the intake... The check engine light turns on randomly and says "Cylinder 3 misfire" after 2 trips to 2 dealers they still can't seem to find antrying wrong with the car. The car has 33,000 miles and I only have so long til it ends. I'm not sure what to do, I've been doing research on this topic and people have been saying to change the spark plugs and go with 1 stage colder plugs. Not sure to order them now from "http://adamtuned.myshopify.com/" and void my warranty not knowing if this will fix the problem. For spark plugs that are 1 stage colder being $45.00, the mod is a must whether is the problem or not but won't get installed til after warranty finishes
