I checked the owner's manual and tried every way of direct tuning - still cannot access either channel 0 or 1, which is usually where the Radio ID shows up? I cannot get to any channel lower than #2.

I have a 2012 Premium with the Shaker 500 system, no Nav...

Can anyone assist?

If you have Sat radio and it is not activated, the ESN number should appear on the screen along with the phone number for Sirius/XM so you can activate it. Until then you will only be able to access the preview channel, which before the channel changeup was 184. If you can't get the number on the screen(by simply turning on the radio and hitting SAT) then the dealer should be able to pull the info for you.

It is when you copy and paste correctly! The info you provided is in error: the correct key combination is SIRRIUS + 1 preset. I do appreciate your effort to help though... :winks

Well, I couldn't imagine how copying and pasting the text could possibly change a single word so I checked again. Here is the page from the manual (note the last sentence):

Could it be different for different model years?

I bet you are right ref model years, yours is a 2011 and mine is a 2012. Check the last line from my manual to see the difference!

Or you can log in to your account on siriusxm.com with your VIN and it will provide you with the ESN. Keep it handy because you might need to refresh your radio from time to time like I did this past week.
