Just had a TCI Streetfighter Shifter installed. Now I'm modding my mods! I had to change out that TCI handle for something a little more fitting for a Muscle Car...I'll work on that lockout lever next...

Very nice, Looks great and I'm sure it will be a blast to slam those gears. I like TCI and plan on their streetfighter AODE for my project and top it off with a ratchet shifter. Standards are great but there is something about chirping gears in an auto that I love.

Looks terriffic :bigthumbsup I do like the chrome ball on there. You can actually use anything that can be drilled and tapped 1/2 x 20. I have seen one with a blck and one with a white ball that looked pretty good too.

I did PM you about the Toggle question, BTW.

I don't see any reason why a person couldn't modify the stock TCI toggle into something pretty cool. It's aluminum, almost like working with wood if you are careful.

I just modified my TCI toggle to look different. After reading this thread I decided to try it. This took me about 2 hours to do.

Shifter has 3/8-16 thread so you can put anything that will fit the thread including handles with adapters. I got the ball on Ebay. Show chrome ball with 1/2-13 thread and three adapters...one was 3/8-16.

Making a ball "Sphere" at home from billet would be quite a trick... but it does look great in his car ... don't it?

The TCI ratchet shifter is a decent mod, you'll be pleased with it. I have had mine about a year now.
