That is really cool! Hadn't thought of doing that! I am always looking for ways to stand out differently! I live in a small town and their are at least 4 of us that look alike to other people and they wave all the time!!! Even with my different rims they can't figure it out! Sheesh, no respect I tell ya! LOL! Can't wait to find out how this is done! :nogrinner

it was like my lifelong dream to get a mustang, so when i finally got my 2005 gt, life was good lol but yeah, the only real reason i got a mustang was because of the huge amount of customizations you can do to them. Ill probly end up spending over $10,000 just on cosmetics. Im more of a cosmetics guy than an engine person, its fast enough for me. So all i do now is look up cool stuff to do to my car, and this is what i found lol but look at my other thread and see what you think of the paint job im gunna get in the summer! Im 18 and i work at a grocery store so 100% of my money goes towards my gt lol

Seems like it'd be a pretty straight forward thing. You'll have to drill a hole in the decklid for the wires. You could wire it to run off of the running lights in the taillights. You'll either have to dremel out the gt logo in your stock one, or somehow make a custom center piece for the emblem.

If you want to know how to make a center for the faux cap, drop me a line. Mine isn't lighted, but it wouldnt be hard to add. In a nutshell, urethane epoxy that you use for table tops, a 75mm Christmas ornament shell (two piece sold in hobby shops), and the emblem of your choice.
