i know the intake manifold is different, i believe that the engine is the same but the accesories on it are different. so if you have the 4v merc engine you just need everything else off of a cobra.

ohh well the manifold is different then the 99/01 cobras haha i didnt see that. but its n/a so its gonna be the higher compression engine like the 99/01 cobras. he 03/04 cobras were a lower comression and had different heads then the n/a 4v. a 03/04 s/c is possible but you will need to change even more parts. the cradle will be different too.

The Marauder is the same motor as the 03/04 Mach1 Automatic and Aviator, the 5 speed Machs have a Forged Crank and that's correct the compression is higher than the 8.5to1 03-04 Cobras!

If you have been watching the power-block lately, the show Trucks has just done a project where they dropped a Marauder motor into a B series Mazda pick-up. They have similar bottom ends to the Mach1 meaning forged crank, cast rods and hypereutectic pistons. <- Sorry about the spelling. What are different thou are the heads and cams, it should drop right into your project just fine since they all use the same motor mount location on the block. As for the supercharger, the engine isn't built to handle the boost, but if you drop in a set of forged pistons and rods, with a lower compression ratio, you should do well.

Only the Mach1 5 speeds have Forged Cranks!

Ok, you can install it, secondly you can install a S/C off a Cobra but you will need the lower intake, intercooler and the front of the motor accessories and the heat exhcanger and all related hardware...then you will need to have it tuned etc...
That's the good part, the bad is it doesn't have forged rods/pistons or crank...
By the time you buy the motor and add all the stuff to swap on the SC you might have well just bought a Termninator takout and be well ahead of the game, or just add a whipple or turbo to the motor you have...
