I need to replace my odometer/tripometer gears. I don't want to take the cluster out to see what kind they take, put it back on, then take it off when I get them in the mail.

So, what kind do they take & where can I order them?

I called them last week and all I could hear through bad reception was that they don't sell the gears alone. I guess they want you to buy the entire odometer/tripometer cluster or an all new cluster :/

There is a place that can repair them...its a common issue let me see if i can find the link...

Another option would be to go to a salvage yard get one out of the same year .

Sam thing happened to me, I was not able to find a place that sold just the gears, so I bought one from Autozone last summer. They have to special order it and it is from a salvage yard. It does come with a 1 year warranty and was around $120.00 to include shipping to my house. It took about 5 days to get here.

Here are some other possibilities though;

Mr. Whizard Technical Services - Electronic Instrument Cluster and Digital Dash Repair

Simco Ltd. Specialty Instrument Clusters, Components, and Driver Information Display Engineering and Manufacturing
