So The power steering hose that connects to the top right side of the power steering pump by the filler neck leaks fluid. Apparently there is supposed to be an O ring. I've tried wrapping Teflon around it and even using JB Weld but it just does not seal I'm considering changing the entire hose but was told that you can buy the O ring at AutoZone unbolt the hose from the power steering and place the O ring on and it will fix the leak.

Does anyone know what I'm referring to and if so is this true that can I buy an O ring from auto zone Unbolt the hose that is going to the top/ side of the power steering pump and replace it to fix the leak?

If so is there a special way to do it. Will it make a mess. Upon refilling the power steering is there a special brand or thickness anyone can recommend that I should get to replace the fluid with.
