Hey everyone I had a few questions about those of you that have already installed it. First, can you see better at night with the stock grill or with the Eleanor? Second do you have to adjust the light after you installed it. And third do you have to buy extra wires so they will reach? Or do they come with extra wire when you buy the grill.
thanks for you input.

I have the 3D carbon grille. The only thing I had to do was re-route the wires a little so they would reach. I did not have to adjust them, they were on the money. Night vision appears to be the same.

If you are talking about the Cervini bumper and grills like I have you will have to extend the harness. no adjustment on the lights and I think the OEM driving lights are brighter. The small PIAA lights in the bumper are brighter than the lower driving lights but I believe you can change the bulbs in them to a higher wattage to make them brighter, not sure if they will withstand more heat if you do that.

mine came with extensions so the wires could reach. the extensions seem to long at 1st, but actually give you just enough slack to hide the, so you can see them through the grille. I ran them along the frame and secured them with zip ties.

brightness is the same, my grille reuses the factory lights. at a glance they appear fine,no need to adjust but to be honest I'd have to check for sure some night in a parking lot with a blank wall. I have not. Just make sure you install them so you can adjust them if needed.

Eleanor Honeycomb Grill from AM Doesn't Fit!

I just attempted to install an American Muscle, Mustang Eleanor Style Honeycomb Center Fog Light Grille (05-09 GT). It does not fit!

http://www.americanmuscle.com/eleanor-grille-0509gt.html

Everything was going great. I didn't scratch or crack anything removing the stock grill. I covered the wire extentions with wire loom and zip-tied them into place (btw, extensions snapped together beautifully). I even squirted die-electric grease into all the connections.

It was time to snap the grill into place,... no so fast. The fog light brackets hit the radiator support member well before the grill is even close to being in place. I searched online, only to find stories of people mangling their radiator supports to make this grill fit. I don't get it , I couldn't find any horror stories prior to the install. I am very disappointed in myself, and the product.

1st bad experience with American Muscle

After speaking with AM this morning, I am really annoyed. I wanted to return the grille but was denied because I did attempt the install. I screwed the fog light in and shaved off some sharp raised plastic bumps off the bottom, as to not let them rub the top of the bumper. That was enough to deny the return.

There is a disclaimer on the American Muscle website, and it goes as followed:

"Technical Note. Some modifications may be required to the grille or your Mustangs front bracing for proper installation of this Eleanor style grille."

The attachment below is of the modification that is expected, imo that is unacceptable.

Holly crap that's horrific. I'm just going to stick with stock and make them amber.

My buddy and I have to do some sanding/grinding to make it fit correctly.
Just this passed Saturday night my buddy was driving in front of me and told me that my passenger fog light looked like it was going out, or at least it looked dimmer then drivers side. When i got home i looked at both fog lights and i think the problem is that the new grille doesn't hold the lights straight. It was pointed down to the ground a little bit. I do remember that the lights fit really tight in place with not that much for adjustment. Oh well looks cool during the day.
