So I have had the TVS2300 on my car going into three years now. Everything is working fine, but got to thinking and wondering if there is any routine maintenance that is required to be done on the compressor itself. I have a oil separator installed, so the inside of the compressor is still clean like new, but I'm curious if there is a specific oil change interval that is recommended? I have Googled, YouTubed this and search the Roush website but can not find any info pertaining to oil change intervals, how to go about changing it or even what type of replacement oil to use. Not sure if the maintenance info was part of the install manual (don't remember seeing it) but I'm surprised it is not readily available out there on the net somewhere. I'm pretty sure the change intervals are quite long, but would like to confirm and have info on hand when the time comes.

I would try giving Roush a call -- last time I called them, they seemed to really know their products and were quite helpful.

I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that the oil change interval is 100,000 miles; but not positive so don't take my word for it.

100,000 miles kind of sounds familiar. If that is the case I should be good for close to 30 years.......meaning I will probably never have to worry about any maintenance on this thing.

And I'm totally good with that

I remember hearing 100K miles to. I should also be good for around 30 years.

50k actually. Edelbrock E-Force is 100k. With either systems we would recommend the change at 50K though.
Is there instructions and a spec for what oil to use? I have looked around on the net for this info, but really can't find any official type information in regards to servicing the TVS compressor unit.
